Placing an Order

Shopping at is simple. When you find a product you'd like to purchase, click  "Add to Basket".
To see all your purchases, click 'Shopping Basket' near top of page on the right hand side.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You DO NOT have to register on our website to make a purchase.

1. View Shopping Basket
Your Shopping Basket displays all the items you have selected. (Don't worry, you can still make changes.) It also provides a sub-total before any shipping charges and taxes are applied to your purchase. After reviewing the contents of your Shopping Basket, click on "Checkout."

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you sign in to your account but do not complete an order, the items in your Shopping Basket will remain there for 60 minutes. You can come back at any time within that time frame, click the Shopping Basket link at the top of most pages on the site, and complete your order.

2. Checkout Page
All customers are taken to our Checkout page, where you can sign in.

3. Provide Shipping Details
If you are a buying a physical product, we'll ask for a shipping address for the order you are placing. Once you enter this information, click "Continue".

4. Choose a Payment Method
Here you select your payment method. If your billing address is different from your shipping address, you'll be asked to enter it now.

5. Overview Of Your Order
You're almost done! On the Overview Of Your Order page you'll find a summary of your order, including the final cost. Before you submit your order, you'll also have the chance to change any of the shipping or payment information you've entered so far.  When you are ready, click "Finish" to make your payment.

6. Your Order Number
Finally, we display a page with your order number. Shortly after this page displays, you will receive an email confirming the details of your order.

Pre-Order Policy

In certain instances, you may pre-order items on our site. Such items will list an expected shipping timeframe and possibly a release date. If you pre-order an item, your credit card will be charged when the item becomes available. We will ship the item(s) to you on the actual availability date. Therefore, your total time for delivery would be:

Total time for delivery = Time until availability date plus Delivery timeframe (based on the shipping method chosen during the checkout process)

Availability dates are supplied by the publisher, manufacturer or distributor of the product and are subject to change without notice. Once we learn of any changes to the availability date, we update the availability information on our website.

If you do not wish to wait for a delay, you may request a cancellation for your order, provided that the item has not been shipped. If we do not hear from you before we ship the item, we will assume you have agreed to the shipment delay.

Payment Options

We currently only use Paypal Express Secure Payment Services.  There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases with Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (as they appear on your credit card statement). Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order or failure to complete your order request. Shipping Carriers

To provide you with the widest selection of products as well as the highest level of service, your items may ship from multiple locations. In addition, we may use several different carriers to minimize the shipping cost. We only work with top carriers such as Parcel Force and Royal Mail.

Shipping Methods:

Monday - Friday

United Kingdom:

All orders under 2kgs will be shipped Royal Mail 2-3 day service
All orders over 2kgs will be shipped Parcel Force 48 2-4 day service
Some parts of the UK are not covered by these services.

Euro Countries:
All orders under 2kgs will be shipped by Royal Mail.
All orders over 2kgs will be shipped by Parcel Force.
Some parts of the Europe are not covered by these delivery services.

Rest of World:
All orders under 2kgs will be shipped by International Signed For Royal Mail
All orders over 2kgs will be shipped by Parcel Force.
Some parts of the World are not covered by these services

Actual Delivery Date
Your order will arrive based on the shipping timeframe quoted on the site plus the actual delivery timeframe for each item. If multiple items are ordered, they may ship from different locations, so items may arrive at different times.

International Shipping:

We ship globally and delivery timeframes may change from time to time and we may not be informed immediately – consequently unforeseen delays may occur.

Shipping Delays

While we make every attempt to fill all orders placed, an order may be delayed or back-ordered. If a delay or back-order occurs you will receive notification via email. If you do not wish to wait due to the delay or back-order, you may request a cancellation for your order, provided that the item(s) has not shipped. If we do not hear from you before we ship the items, you have agreed to the shipment delay.
If we cannot deliver your item(s) within 30 days of the order date, delay notice or back-order notification (whichever is greater), a cancellation will be processed automatically and you will receive a prompt refund for any unshipped portion of your order, if you had been charged. Please allow up to two billing cycles for the refund credit to appear on your credit card statement.

Returns Policy:

We'll refund your online purchase if you:
  • Return new books, unopened CDs, or cassettes in their original unopened packaging and we receive them in good condition.
  • Include your packing slip or invoice.
  • Return within 30 days of the shipment date listed on your packing slip.
Please note: Due to the digital nature of the product, we cannot accept eBook returns and do not issue refunds on ebook purchases

Returns Conditions:
  • Original shipment charges are not refundable. You are responsible for all costs associated with return shipment.
  • Returns made to Buzzword UK will be refunded in the form of the original payment method.
  • We cannot issue refunds for items returned to us more than 30 days after shipment date.
  • We will NOT accept returned products for refund received more than 30 days after shipment date.
  • Due to the digital nature of the product, we cannot accept eBook returns.
  • We are unable to exchange items.
  • The return procedure above applies only to those items purchased from website. It does not apply to books bought at another bookseller, online, or retail store.
  • We cannot be responsible for packages lost during return. Therefore, we highly recommend that your return be sent as a Signed for Package. The credit for your return will be applied to the credit card used to make the purchase. It may take up to two credit card billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.

Defective, Damaged or Misshipped Items

If your order was damaged on delivery you must report this immediately to the carrier company (or postal service operator) and request a Damage Report. You must also inform of the damaged shipment within 48-hours.

If you have to return an order or part thereof because of damage in transit, please ensure you enclose a copy of your Order ID and Damage Report from the carrier company involved. You must mark the goods being returned as "Returned Goods" otherwise they may incur import duty coming into the UK - which, if this happens, the sum involved will be deducted from any refunds we have to make to our customers.

When returning your items, please make sure to include your Order ID (the original invoice) otherwise your returns procedure may be delayed. We advise that you return your items as a Signed for Package that requires a signature for proof of delivery as we will not accept any responsibility for items that get lost in the post or undelivered. It is your responsibility to ensure items are safely returned to us within the required period.

You will receive a refund for the item(s) and shipping and handling costs for defective, damaged or Misshipped items. For all other items, shipping and handling costs cannot be refunded. (Note: Return shipping cost refunds are calculated using the lowest cost shipping method.  Items returned via expedited shipping methods will only be refunded an amount equal to the lowest cost shipping method).

Please Note: Cancellation Requests do not guarantee that a cancellation may occur, as ordered items may have been sent out from the various suppliers for shipment. Once orders have gone to the supplier for shipment, we cannot change or cancel an order.

Sales Tax Policy

Appropriate sales tax is calculated during the order checkout process and is based on existing British sales and VAT regulations.  Any taxes imposed will be specified in your cart prior to submitting your order.

Pricing and Availability Policy

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. reserves the right to accept or decline your order for any reason at any time. reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.
All orders must be paid in British Sterling Pounds and must obtain verification pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. If additional information is necessary, we will contact you via email at the email address provided on your order. Shipping and delivery timeframes quoted on the site will not begin until appropriate approval and verification of your order has been obtained.

Backorders Policy

On occasion, your order may be out of stock. In this event, will notify you via email with the status of your order. If the expected delivery date of the item is within 30 days, will place your order on backorder and notify you when it ships. If you wish to cancel your order while on backorder status, please see Canceling an Order. If the expected delivery date of the item is greater than 30 days, will notify you that the order has been cancelled due to an out of stock status. All notifications will take place via email.

Errors and Omissions Policy

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a display or typographical error, or an error in pricing information received from our suppliers, or store partners, shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of your original charge.

Coupons, Promotions and Discounts

From time to time, offers discounts to its customers. The coupons are simple to use and are usually based on a minimum sterling pound purchase or maximum discount applied.

Coupons can be redeemed during the ONLINE order process, it's easy!!

Here's how:
1. During the order process, enter your coupon code where prompted.
2. See the discount applied on your order total at the end of your ordering process.

Coupon and Promotion Policies
  • One coupon per customer.
  • Coupons are not valid with any other coupon offer, shipping offer or promotion. If you enter two coupon codes, our system will accept whichever coupon you entered last.
  • Coupons and Promotions are issued with expiration dates, while supplies last.
  • Each coupon has different requirements and discounts. Money-off coupons have minimum purchase amounts in product. Percentage-off and shipping coupons have maximum pound sterling values. All requirements must be met to receive your discount.
  • Some coupons are valid only on certain products.
  • Coupons cannot be replaced if the code is lost or stolen.
  • Pound Sterling-off or percentage-off coupons are applied to the merchandise subtotal, before any shipping charges or sales taxes have been applied.
  • If you cancel or return item(s), this may change or void coupon discounts applied to your order. This happens when the cancellation or return causes the merchandise subtotal (before any shipping charges or sales taxes have been applied) to fall below the minimum requirement.
  • If you return an item that was purchased with a coupon, you will be refunded only for the amount you paid (that is, the price of the item, less the coupon value).
